EXTENDED ENGINEERING MENU FOR TECHNICAL PROFESSIONALS
The extended engineering menu is intended for troubleshooting and setup of the equipment. The control system interface is divided into the following access levels:

1. The first access level for operators
2. The second access level for technical professionals

MULTILINGUAL CAPABILITY
MULTILINGUAL CAPABILITY
The multilingual controller capability makes it possible to select a necessary interface language. The basic menu configuration supports 10 languages. If necessary, customers may request the manufacturer to translate the interface to a new language.

STANDARD REWINDING MODE
STANDARD REWINDING MODE (WITHOUT FILM STRETCHING)
This mode is used to rewind film without stretching. It makes it possible to rewind parent and manual rolls (without the Pre-Stretch function) of specified length and weight.

TWO-STAGE FILM STRETCHING SYSTEM
TWO STAGE FILM STRETCHING SYSTEM
This system makes it possible to achieve maximal stretching of Pre-Stretch film at high rewinding speeds. At every stage, an operator is capable to adjust the stretching percentage to obtain maximal film stretching and web quality. The required stretching percentage is set by means of the controller.

This system notifies an operator on occurrence of Pre-Stretch film defects (mini-ruptures) caused by excessive film stretching in the course of rewinding.
This allows the operator to adjust the web stretching settings timely: set the optimal stretching percentage or decrease the rewinding speed.

Visual and audible alarm is used to notify the operator on completion of an operation or occurrence of abnormal conditions.

FILM REINFORCEMENT (EDGE BENDING)
Film edges are bent to increase its tear strength, because the edge is the most vulnerable area of a roll. The reinforcement makes it possible to prevent edge tearing in the course of unwinding. Width of the bent area is set by an operator in a range of 1 to 10 mm.

OSCILLATION
Oscillation is a swinging motion of auxiliary shafts that moves the web from side to side (right-left). The oscillation range can be adjusted. Main purposes of this function are as follows:
- prevent thickening at the roll ends, achieve homogenous roll density at the center.
- prevent cardboard core deformation
- retain roll integrity in case of falling. Rewinding of stretch-film rolls without oscillation makes them vulnerable when falling. Collision of a roll and a hard surface results in defects: discontinuities, deep scratches and peeled ends.

FILM BREAK MONITORING SYSTEM
If the film breaks, the rewinding process is stopped automatically. The sensor measures the length of already wound film and displays the corresponding notification message. After rethreading, the system recalculates the length (weight) still to be wound, which allows the machine to rewind the target length or weight of the film.

Elimination of prolonged delays due to fast response to the abnormal situation
WINDING DENSITY ADJUSTMENT
Adjustment of the winding tension makes it possible to obtain loose rolls of large diameter or dense rolls of small diameter, but of the same roll weight and stretching percent. One of advantages is a possibility to use cores with various wall thickness without risk of their deformation. Minimal core wall thickness is 1.7 mm.

RECIPES OF REWINDING SETTING
Recipes are a function of the controller menu. It can be used by the operator to configure and save settings of the stretch film rewinding.

SPEED OPTIMIZATION
This function makes it possible to preset a number of rewinding speeds. The maximal possible speed can be effectively used to rewind rolls of medium weight. When heavy rolls are wound, the machine can decelerate automatically as soon as a preset film length is reached. Selection of the optimal speed makes it possible to eliminate vibrations and facilitates the rewinding process correction. Stepwise speed alteration can be necessary in the following cases:
- low quality raw material is used
- it is necessary to rewind a bulky finished roll

STACKING TABLE
The stacking table is designed for collecting and stacking finished rolls. Thanks to this feature, the operator has no need to extract and transfer the rolls to the hopper/container as soon as the cycle is over.

WEIGHING SYSTEM
This system is used to measure the weight of rolls in the specific weight winding mode of the machine. The system weighs each roll at the end of the winding cycle. If the measured weight differs from the rated value, the settings are automatically corrected to tailor to the next roll.
